Bench Jeweler for Custom Design Jewelry Design company.
The applicant will be responsible for doing minor and major jewelry repair work that will require experience with a torch, gemstone setting, polishing and finishing all types of fine jewelry. Some interaction with clients will be required from time to time.
Major Duties and Minor Duties will be determined based on skill level. Able to work with other jewelers and clients. Arriving prompt, and respectable with the people and product you are working with. Good verbal communication skills. Manage a clean respectable workspace.
Qualifications for this position, in part, are as follows:
Ring sizing with all karat gold, platinum and silver. Jewelry repair using touch, retipping, reshanking, chain soldering, gemstone replacement etc.
Desired qualification: Setting diamonds and gemstones in prongs, bezel, bead and flush setting, polishing and cleaning up rough castings, laser welding, machine engraving, CAD design and Gemology background.
