Bench Jeweler position & Setter (can be full or part time)
Seeking mature, independent, responsible and trustworthy Master Jeweler & Gemstone Setter with a proven track record in jewelry creation in other high end companies.
Must have people skills, communication skills, be positive, competitive and committed to excellence.
Experience Requirement
This jeweler must have a minimum of 8 years of extensive experience and knowledge in high-end jewelry making and gemstone setting
Responsibilities
•Ability to turn sketches into CAD design or Silver Model
•Ability to create complex and intricate pieces without supervision.
•Ability to provide input on technical aspect of design
•Ability to provide initial labor estimates.
•Ability to translate design concept into a physical piece within established project timeframe.
Qualifications
•Knowledge of complex and intricate jewelry construction as well as gemstone setting.
•Ability to construct handmade elements, mechanical components, clasps, connections, etc
•Ability to communicate issues clearly
•Knowledge of colored stone properties, setting techniques, and styles.
•Must have good communication skills
•Must be highly motivated
