Maui Dives Jewelry is currently looking for the Bench Jeweler position.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Bench Jeweler at Maui Divers Jewelry is responsible to provide timely and quality troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment used to manufacture jewelry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Size rings using machinery and polish jewelry.
•Ability to follow detailed instructions, good eye/hand coordination, work quickly and efficiently
•Skilled in cutting complex and complicated designs
•Ability to cut keyhole plug and spiral cuts
EXPERIENCE:
•Minimum 5 years experience repairing fine jewelry, and prior bench experience required
•Proficient in all aspects of jewelry repair
•Proficient in most styles of stone setting.
•Candidate must be detail-oriented, able to understand and follow detailed verbal or written instructions, quality and detail-oriented.
•Experience with varied industry rubbers including silicone, RTV silicone, and natural rubber.
•Candidate must be willing to be trained and work well with others.
