Description

The Jeweler provides an advanced level of technical skill and support to Manufacturing, focused on performance and department synergies supporting manufacturing with training, process, and work center development. This opportunity is located at our manufacturing facility in Kerrville, TX.

Essential Functions

•Provides general support to Section Leaders by identifying and resolving issues that arise between work centers.

•Performs at a jeweler’s capacity to modify, repair and adjust components as needed by manufacturing.

•Supports the implementation and development of new product, processes, tooling and equipment.

•Provides technical expertise in all areas of jewelry manufacturing – wax, casting, bench, finishing, and fabrication.

•Demonstrates techniques and procedures in classroom and training environment.

Minimum Qualifications

•Associates Degree and 5 or more years of bench jeweler experience; or a combination of education and work experience.

•Demonstrated knowledge of tools, machinery, and equipment used to produce jewelry in a manufacturing production setting.

•Advanced jewelry fabrication and repair knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

•Jewelers of America Professional Certification.
