Job Role:
As the Jeweller/Goldsmith you will be working in their on-site workshop but still an integral part of a well settled store team, many who pleasingly have long service and much trade experience.
Principally you will be involved with general repairs and alternations working in Gold, Platinum and Silver. Frequent tasks will include but not be limited to:
•Ring sizing
•Stone Setting
•Re-tipping
•Chain repairs
•Rhodium Plating
•Cleaning and Polishing
You would also be expected to assist with changing watch batteries and straps. A smaller but equally important part of the job will be re-modelling of existing items and the creation of bespoke pieces.
Requirements:
•You need to be experienced in all types of bench work including aqua flame soldering and laser welding.
•Inwardly you will possess excellent communicational and organisational skills as well as the ability to use your own initiative and prioritise your work.
•Like the surrounding team you will have a strong work ethic and push yourself to achieve always finished work of the highest standard.
•When requested you should feel comfortable working alongside the company’s sales professionals when they are consulting on re-modelling jobs or design commissions that you’ll be expected to undertake.
•You need to be cheerful, confident and relaxed ever keen to engage and add your professional values to their small team dynamics.
•There is always a keenness for employees to acquire new skills and techniques so adaptability to embrace new capability initiatives would be most welcome.
