Full Job Description
Minimum of three years of experience as a bench jeweler working in production.
Required Skills:
•Seeking a bench jeweler to work on production for a high-end contemporary jewelry company.
•Looking for a candidate with a fine eye for detail and an artistic hand.
•The position will entail working raw castings primarily and assembly work in sterling silver, brass and gold, from beginning to completion.
•Candidate should be skilled in polishing all metals, on a polishing making and at the bench.
•Should be comfortable with an acetylene torch & oxy-acetylene torch (mini torch).
•Candidate has at least 3+ yrs experience in metalwork, and has a strong, working understanding of jewelry construction and production.
•Ability to aid in maintaining bench tools.
•Stone setting skills are a plus.
•Strong work ethic is imperative.
•Compensation will be based on experience. Ideal candidate is available to work two to three days a week for 8 hour days during daytime working hours.
