Full Job Description
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced bench jeweler to assist with our repair needs 2-3 days a week. Someone who is proficient with setting diamonds and most common jewelry repair requests. Your responsibilities will include all work to be completed in a timely manner and exceeding all expectations.
Jeweler should have exceptional knowledge of gems, metals, basic restoration, and assembly techniques, and finishes. Ideally, the most suitable candidate will also regard integrity and empathy as being extremely important.
Jeweler Responsibilities:
•Strong communication skills
•Ability to work in an open environment
•Ability to work with a variety of metals
•Proficient with polishing and cleaning all jewelry
•Deliver quality work and exceed expected results
•Understanding market pricing and materials.
•Valuing pieces and materials.
•Restoring old or broken pieces.
Jeweler Requirements:
•High school diploma.
•Competency around all repair and shop tools.
•3-5 years minimum experience required as a bench jewele
