RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with precious metals and stones for rings, bracelets, pendants, etc.
- Work with microscope, handpieces, and other bench/setting tools
- Clean castings, prepare stones and findings, assembly, soldering, welding, finishing
- Clean components with steam and ultrasonic
- Consistently complete repairs and new production
- Inspect pieces for quality and accuracy
- Take initiative as well as follow through on requests for completion
- Maintain clean and organized work station
- Other skills/knowledge such as polishing, machining, enameling, engraving, wax and mold making a plus
- Assess and provide input on setting aspect during early stages of project development
- Work onsite Monday to Friday 9AM-6PM in Midtown Manhattan
REQUIREMENTS:
- If possible, please include a portfolio of past work
- Excellent working experience with fine jewelry and precious metals
- GIA / relevant certification a strong plus
- Committed to standard of excellence
- High degree of aesthetic sensibility and time management
- Strong interpersonal skills and good attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good English communication skills
- Polish language skills a plus
