PDQ are looking to recruit a Foundry Technician for a Manufacturing company in Tadworth.
The company provides a range of scientific instruments for research purposes.
Duties include – plating, casting, sandblasting and polishing.
This is the ideal position for anyone with a Jewellery Making background.
If you have worked with precious metals, silver smith, goldsmith or any mechanical assembly experience on a small then this would be the perfect opportunity to experience a new industry.
Experience in a workshop environment is preferable.
Full training will be provided as it is only the prior metals/mechanical assembly knowledge that is required.
You are required to have a good level of dexterity as you will be utilising hand tools and performing mechanical assembly.
A keen attention to detail is essential as you will be reading drawings and instructions and identifying defects.
A manufacturing, production or processing background would be ideal.
