WATCHMAKER

BELFAST, NORTHERN IRELAND

Attractive salary + company benefits

Operating three stores, two in Belfast and one in Londonderry, Lunn’s the Jewellers is widely considered to be Northern Ireland’s leading independent jeweller.

With over 60 years‘ experience of selling fine watches and jewellery, this family-run business has successfully cultivated relationships with the most reputable suppliers for over three generations, being authorised stockists for Rolex, Patek Phillipe, Cartier and Omega Watches, to name but a few, as well as famous Jewellery names such as Robert Coin, David Yurman and Mikimoto. The business also designs and brings to market their own exclusive Lunn’s collections of bridal, wedding and diamond set jewellery, namely Portfolio of Fine Diamonds.

Fantastic customer service is Lunn’s the Jewellers’ core belief, underpinned by its offerings of valuations, bespoke design services, and of course repairs.

The store is now looking forward to welcoming a new Watchmaker to join its highly valued Aftersales Service team in its comprehensively fitted out Workshop.

In light of the established portfolio of Luxury Watch marques stocked in store, the ideal candidate will possess high end watchmaking skills, and as many technical brand accreditations as possible. Accreditation from watch houses such as Rolex, Omega or Cartier would be particularly advantageous.

While the value of WOSTEP or BHI qualifications is clearly recognised, depth of experience on the bench is also highly prized by our client. Where required, access to specific technical training will be provided, but Lunn’s is definitely looking for somebody who is already a cut above “watch technician” status.

Further personal qualities you will bring to the bench include the ability to prioritise, engage with and communicate to customers about the progress of your projects, as well as a meticulous approach to all aspects of your craft.

This business is extremely proud of its commercial reputation, and the effectiveness and excellence of its Aftersales Service department’s service has been a key component in building customer trust over many generations, both in terms of initial purchase and the repair and servicing of their precious items. With you on board, this excellence of service will continue long into the future.

If you are not currently based within Northern Ireland but would consider relocation, our client will be delighted to showcase to you the advantages of living and working in Belfast.

To place your Watchmaking talent in front of this prestigious client, please in the first instance forward your CV directly to Mr Jolyon Marshall here at JML.
