Gem Diamonds Ltd. just found a 442 carat diamond at its mine Lesotho, where they have previously found other large gems. This mine has the largest average selling price of diamonds in the world – just two year ago they found a 910 carat stone that sold for $40 million.This newly discovered diamond, could fetch close to $18 million dollars. This find comes just in time when the diamond industry has struggled along during the 2020 pandemic.
