Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry, an AGS accredited retail jeweler, founded over 45 years ago, is seeking a highly qualified bench jeweler to work in our business as an independent contractor in San Antonio, TX. Our current operation consists of two locations, with a third location opening late Spring/early Summer.
This position is for someone who has a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair. The ideal candidate must have experience working with fine metals – silver, gold and platinum – and be an expert working with designer lines, custom work, and setting valuable gemstones. Experience with jewelry CAD software a plus.
A work space is provided with an affordable rent structure and a bench test is required for consideration. The state of the art location opening Spring/Summer will be brand new with a large work space and separate polishing room. It is laser and natural gas ready.
