Overview

Paul Morelli Design is a Philadelphia based boutique fine jewelry design and manufacturing company looking for motivated and experienced full-time jewelers to join our team.

Hiring is one of the most important things we do. Each associate contributes greatly to the success of this growing company founded by Paul Morelli in 1981.

Qualifications

Experience with the following high-end jewelry production techniques in 18K Yellow Gold, 18K White Gold, or Platinum is a must:

  • Proper Filing technique
  • Proper Sawing techniques
  • A solid understanding of preparing gold and platinum for polishing
  • Traditional soldering techniques using an oxygen and acetylene torch
  • Laser Welding
  • Final Polishing

-Flexibility to adjust quickly to changes and deliver on tight deadlines in a demanding environment

-Ability to follow instructions and understand that you are a part of a team

Compensation

Compensation will be determined after an initial trial period, lasting no longer than one week, that pays $15 per hour. Starting pay begins at $20 per hour, but actual rate will be based on your demonstrated abilities, not just your resume experience.

When submitting your resume, please include any recent work experience and references. Recent jewelry school graduates will be considered as well.
