Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Horologist located in Toronto, ON. The Horologist will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of watches and clocks to the highest standards of precision and quality. Daily tasks include inspecting timepieces for faults, performing meticulous repairs, calibrating timekeeping mechanisms, ensuring quality control, and maintaining detailed records of repairs and services provided.
Qualifications
- Expertise in watch repair and in-depth knowledge of watches, including various models and mechanisms
- Proficiency in repairing and maintaining clocks
- Strong skills in quality control and attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Exceptional organizational and record-keeping abilities
- Patience, precision, and aptitude for working with intricate mechanisms
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
- Certification or formal training in horology is an asset
