We are seeking a highly skilled Bench Jeweler to join our team, supporting both our Beverly Hills retail location and our Downtown Los Angeles production atelier. This role is critical to maintaining the exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and service standards that define Logan Hollowell Jewelry.

Professional Jeweler

Position Overview

The Bench Jeweler will be responsible for executing a wide range of fine jewelry production, repair, and finishing tasks. This individual will work closely with our production, retail, and design teams to ensure all pieces meet Logan Hollowell’s exacting standards. The role requires exceptional technical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in both client-facing and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Fabrication

  • Execute fine jewelry fabrication and assembly in 18k gold and platinum
  • Perform precision soldering, laser welding, and assembly of complex components
  • Execute stone setting support, including pre-setting preparation and tightening
  • Perform polishing and finishing to Logan Hollowell’s luxury standards
  • Execute resizing, ring shank replacement, and structural repairs
  • Assemble custom and one-of-a-kind pieces from concept through completion

Repairs & Quality Control

  • Perform high-level repairs on fine jewelry, including prong rebuilding, stone tightening, and restoration
  • Diagnose structural integrity issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions
  • Ensure all finished pieces meet strict quality control standards before delivery or client presentation
  • Maintain consistency in finishing across all pieces

Retail & Client Support (Beverly Hills)

  • Support the retail team with urgent client repairs, adjustments, and sizing
  • Assist with quality checks for incoming and outgoing merchandise
  • Execute same-day or expedited repairs when required
  • Represent the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship and excellence in a client-facing environment

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient bench environment
  • Properly handle and track high-value inventory, gemstones, and finished pieces
  • Follow internal production timelines and priorities
  • Collaborate closely with production managers, designers, and retail leadership

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of professional bench jewelry experience in fine jewelry
  • Expert proficiency working with 18k gold and platinum
  • Strong skills in soldering, laser welding, polishing, finishing, and repair
  • Experience working with high-value and delicate gemstone pieces
  • Exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining quality
  • Strong organizational skills and professionalism
  • Experience in luxury jewelry production environments strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting retail store repair needs is a plus
