Bench Jeweler (In-Person | Bronxville, NY)
We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bench Jeweler to join our small, collaborative studio team in Bronxville, NY, working up to four days per week, in person.
This role is ideal for someone who loves hands-on bench work, takes pride in precision, and enjoys contributing to beautifully crafted, thoughtfully made jewelry.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with general bench work and production support as needed
- Execute high-quality soldering, finishing, and welding
- Work across silver, gold, and platinum
- String pearls and beads
- Perform ring sizings, repairs, and alterations
- Work confidently with arc and/or laser welders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and respectful studio workspace
Highly Desired Skills
- Gemstone setting experience is a major plus, including:
- Flush setting
- Bead setting
- Bezel setting
- Experience in jewelry repair work
- Experience in jewelry stringing
- Strong eye for detail and consistency
- Comfort working on delicate, fine jewelry pieces
- Excellent finishing skills
- Ability to assess repairs and communicate clearly about bench needs

- Compensation will be commensurate with experience and skill level, particularly for jewelers with strong stone-setting and repair backgrounds.
