About the Role
As a fully experienced Jewellery Bench Worker, you will play a key role in the repair and restoration of fine jewellery. Your expertise will help bring pieces back to life, ensuring every detail is flawless and each repair meets the highest standards. This role requires not only strong technical ability, but also a collaborative mindset and a reliable, professional approach.
Key Responsibilities
•Accurately and efficiently size rings, both up and down
•Replace half shanks with precision and care
•Re-tip and rebuild claws to restore original strength and appearance
•Repair a wide range of chains with meticulous attention to detail
•Confidently work with all metals commonly used in jewellery
•Collaborate effectively with colleagues to prioritise and manage workloads
What We’re Looking For
•Proven experience as a jewellery bench worker, supported by a strong repair portfolio
•Solid skills in sizing, shank replacement, claw restoration and chain repair
•Ability to work across different metals and adapt techniques accordingly
•A reliable, honest and dedicated approach to your craft
•Strong teamwork skills with a flexible attitude towards changing priorities
