Master Goldsmith / Expert Bench Jeweler — Custom Jewelry, Fabrication & Repairs

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled Master Goldsmith / Senior Bench Jeweler to join our fine jewelry and luxury watch business in Columbus, Ohio.

This is not an entry-level position or a role for someone whose experience is limited to basic repairs.

We are looking for a true master of the trade—an accomplished professional who possesses the technical knowledge, artistic ability, precision, and confidence to handle virtually every aspect of fine jewelry manufacturing, restoration, and repair.

If you can take a jewelry project from start to finish, independently and to the highest standards, we want to meet you.

Your Expertise Must Include

Fine Jewelry Repair & Restoration

Expert ring sizing, soldering, reshanking, and rebuilding
Prong retipping, head replacement, and stone tightening
Chain, bracelet, clasp, and complex jewelry repairs
Platinum, gold, and silver restoration
Laser welding and traditional torch techniques
Antique and estate jewelry restoration

Advanced Stone Setting

Prong, bezel, channel, pavé, flush, and tension-style settings
Diamonds and precious colored gemstones
Delicate and intricate stone-setting projects
Replacement and resetting of valuable stones
Experience handling fragile, high-value, and irreplaceable gemstones

Custom Design & Manufacturing

Hand fabrication of custom engagement rings and fine jewelry
Wax carving, model making, and casting
Working from sketches, CAD designs, and customer concepts
Custom mounting fabrication and assembly
Stone layout, finishing, polishing, and final quality control
Creating exceptional jewelry from concept to finished masterpiece

Technical Expertise

Extensive knowledge of precious metals, alloys, and gemstones
Advanced soldering, welding, and metalworking
Proficiency with professional bench tools and equipment
Ability to diagnose complicated repairs and determine the proper solution
Consistent workmanship that meets luxury jewelry standards

Demonstrated mastery of advanced jewelry repair and fabrication

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Compensation

$35–$50 per hour, depending on demonstrated expertise and experience.

Pay: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
