A Flexible Way to Collaborate
• Occasional, project based work when additional production support is needed.
• Compensation agreed upon for each project or order.
• No fixed schedule or guaranteed volume of work.
• Local professionals are preferred for easier collaboration and potential in person work.
Qualifications
- Strong bench jewelry skills, including soldering, finishing, polishing, and basic repairs.
- Proficiency in multiple stone setting techniques, such as prong, bezel, pavé, flush, and channel setting.
- High attention to detail
- Experience handling precious metals and gemstones
- Reliable access to appropriate bench tools and equipment in a suitable remote workspace.
- Clear and timely communication skills, including the ability to share progress updates, ask clarifying questions, and meet agreed deadlines.
- Prior experience as a stone setter or bench jeweler, ideally in a fine jewelry environment.
- Understanding of basic jewelry production workflows, from prototypes to small batch manufacturing, is beneficial.
- Commitment to professional ethics, including careful handling of client property and respect for design confidentiality.
