Life is naturally measured with time and each of us takes every hour to its significance to everyday life. That is why every time the hour strikes, our senses become keener of what is happening around us. At Esslinger, we constantly improve our products, including clock parts to enhance people’s everyday experience with time. Our newest product- the quartz trigger movement clock comes with a chime box that plays the Westminster chime on the hour. We let you use not just your sense of sight but your sense of hearing when choosing the best replacement clock. You can even listen to its magnificent chime online before making the purchase.
This chime clock is a durable timepiece with a detachable speaker and comes with free pair of hands. One “AA” is required for the clock movement and two “AA” batteries for the chime box.
A clock repairman converted an old electric motor mantle clock with an Esslinger c-cell battery-powered movement. In resetting the time for Standard time I’ve lost the chime which had worked perfectly. How is the little speaker connected? There appears to be one loose wire lead, but it doesn’t appear to have been broken because the insulation covers the entire end. Are there supposed to be two leads to the speaker? If so, how do I re-connect the loose lead?
