Classic Jewelers is looking for an experienced In-House Bench Jeweler to join our team.
We specialize in fine jewelry, engagement rings, wedding bands, and custom pieces, and we are looking for a skilled jeweler who takes pride in precise, high-quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Set diamonds and gemstones into engagement rings, wedding bands, and fine jewelry
- Perform ring repairs and general jewelry repairs
- Resize rings accurately while maintaining the integrity and finish of the piece
- Work with Platinum, 14K White Gold, 14K Yellow Gold, 14K Rose Gold, and 18K Gold
- Perform soldering, assembly, finishing, polishing, and restoration work
- Inspect jewelry before and after repairs or stone setting
- Identify loose stones, damaged prongs, worn settings, and other potential issues
- Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship and quality control
- Work closely with our production and customer service team to complete jobs accurately and on schedule
Qualifications
- Previous professional bench jeweler experience required
- Strong experience with diamond and gemstone setting
- Experience resizing and repairing fine jewelry
- Comfortable working with platinum and multiple gold alloys
- Ability to work on high-value engagement rings and fine jewelry with precision and care
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple jobs
- Experience with pavé, prong, shared-prong, halo, and other common diamond-setting techniques is a plus
