Needed – a bench jeweler with a minimum of 10 years of experience including 3 years of laser welder experience that can take direction well and be open to our way of doing repairs. The salary range is $40,000 and $70,000 and is commensurate with your experience level. In addition to performing jewelry maintenance and repair, the jeweler will be responsible for the jeweler’s shop, maintaining all equipment, maintaining and ordering supplies and will need to become proficient using POS computer system designed for the jewelry industry. The ideal candidate will be an expert at basic sizing, soldering, prong work, laser welding, pave work, setting in gold, platinum and silver, jewelry manufacturing and CAD, custom jewelry design and precious stone setting. The jeweler works closely with the owners to achieve jewelry shop financial objectives. Successful candidates must work well in a team environment, communicate effectively and have a strong work ethic. The jeweler position requires working some evenings and weekends.
