Ken K. Thompson Jewelry, now in our 85th year and continuing to grow, is the area’s leading
Jewelry store, Custom Jewelry designer & Jewelry service center.
Previous Goldsmith experience certainly a plus but not mandatory as Ken K. will provide / enhance your education & training.
Ken K’s is located in the scenic northwoods area of north central Minnesota with abundant outdoor recreational possibilities, NCAA Division I sports, a vibrant arts community, Bemidji
State University, excellent health care options and strong economic growth.
Involves working with precious metals & gemstones such as gold, platinum, sterling silver.
Duties include: adjusting, servicing, and repairing precious metal jewelry using torches, lasers, microscopes & more. Desired skill set & duties include fine motor skills, artistic vision, meeting deadlines, assisting sales staff in pricing & identifying repairs needed, organizational ability, strong desire to improve yourself through continuous learning. Computer CAD literacy a plus though not a requirement.
Previous Goldsmith experience certainly a plus but not expected as we will provide intensive training & guidance to learn the profession.
