Position Overview
This is a full-time position (salary DOE), and you will be working alongside two master jewelers doing jewelry repair and creating custom pieces. Connie & V. Cross Jewelers prides itself on its high-quality work and is looking for someone who holds those same high standards when working with jewelry.
The Workshop
Work in our state-of-the-art workshop! We specialize in custom jewelry, and it’s all made in-house with CAD, growing and casting in gold and silver. You’ll work on our Rofin laser welder and your bench comes supplied with every other tool available in our workshop.

Connie & V. Cross Jewelers is an independently owned jewelry store and specializes in on-premises custom jewelry and repairs. Connie & V. Cross Jewelers has been a fixture in the community since 1984 and is owned by Master Jeweler Verlon Cross and Connie Thurmond since 1984.
Required Qualifications
•Ring sizing
•Re-tipping
•Chain repair
•Polishing castings
•Stone setting: prong, pave’, bezel and channel
•Basic and/or intermediate fabrication
•Laser welding
•Matrix experience a plus, but not required
•Any other higher level jewelry skills are strong plus
