Alexanders Jewelers is looking for an experienced, talented bench jeweler/goldsmith to join our team. We are an upscale, full service, family owned retail jewelry store located in the Short North area of Columbus, Ohio.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as a goldsmith. Essential job skills required include ring sizing, soldering, laser welding, rhodium plating, re-shanking, re-shaping, re-tipping and associated setting work, pearl restringing, and engraving. Experience in jewelry design and CAD/CAM is desirable.
The goldsmith works closely with the store managers to achieve objectives. Successful candidates will work well in a team environment, communicate effectively and have a strong work ethic. Must be detail oriented and be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
