Bench Jeweller – Glasgow

Due to continued growth and expansion, an exciting career opportunity has arisen for a Bench Jeweller to join our workshop team.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated Bench Jeweller with a passion for jewellery and a meticulous eye for detail. A proven track record of consistently achieving key performance indicators is paramount.

Our workshop is fully equipped with state of the art machinery, including a laser welder. Experience in this would be desirable but not essential as training would be provided.

We want to offer exceptional service to our valued clients and we work hard across all disciplines to achieve this, key accountabilities for this role include:

• Polishing/Rhodium – to a high standard
• Soldering (use of the mircoweld for chains, shanks, bracelets)
• Ring sizing
• Laser experience not essential
• Pearl removal/reattaching
• Cleaning and maintenance of machines & tools
• Stock replenishment ( parts, metal, tools )
• Quality checks
• Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines
• Achieve and exceed agreed weekly KPIs
• Supporting team/workshop manager

Experience of working in a fast-paced workshop environment is essential. An HND qualification in Silversmithing and Jewellery Design is desirable.
