Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented bench jeweler to join our talented team. As a bench jeweler, you will be responsible for performing a variety of jewelry repairs, customizations, and manufacturing tasks. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive top-notch service and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repair and restoration of jewelry, including ring sizing, stone setting, and soldering.
  • Create custom jewelry pieces based on customer specifications and design requirements.
  • Inspect and assess damaged jewelry to determine the necessary repairs and provide cost estimates.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workbench, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to address customer requests and offer expert advice on jewelry care and repairs.
  • Ensure all work meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Bench Jeweler with a strong portfolio of completed work.
  • Proficiency in various jewelry repair techniques, including soldering, stone setting, and polishing.
  • Ability to work with a range of materials, including gold, silver, platinum, and gemstones.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Formal training or certification in jewelry repair or gemology.
  • Experience with CAD software or other design tools

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $160.00 per day

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
