Job Opening for Bench Jeweler (Longview,WA)

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our high volume jewelry store. As a 3rd generation of family ownership jewlery store, we are the primary jewlery store in our county and service a large customer base from Portland to Seattle. We are located in Longview, Washington a smaller community with a low cost of living and a community based smalll town feel. That said, our store sales volume is high at consistently $3million+ as we are the only privetly owned non-chain large scale jewelry store with in an hour any direction.

The ideal candidate for this position has experience working with precious metals, has a passion for fine jewelry, and benefits from advanced knowledge of gem evaluation and appraisal. Experience with a Laser Welder is prefered. Repair work such as sizing, setting, tipping and other general benchwork will be required. Custom work involving casting and further skills is also highly encouraged.
