TENTHOUSANDTHINGS is a collection of fine jewelry designed by Ron Anderson and David Rees, self-taught jewelers. From their downtown New York City atelier, they meticulously hand craft modern heirlooms.
We are seeking a BENCH JEWELER to join our team located at our store front and studio space in the West Village. This position can be full time or part time – several days a week. We are looking for an experienced bench jeweler to support the principals of the company in creating one of a kind pieces from wax to setting and general production needs for our wholesale orders. There are hand finishing and polishing requirements for most of the pieces as well. Benefits offered for full time position.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
•Complete production orders for assigned pieces
•Brush, buff, clean and polish metal items and jewelry pieces, using jeweler’s tools, polishing wheel, and chemical bath
•Assist with wax model creation and finishing
•Work with and finish hand cut stone pieces
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
•8 hour shift
