R&D Manufacturing is a contract jewelry and accessories manufacturer based in the Greater Providence area and serves some of the most recognizable brands in the world.
We are currently seeking to expand our Maker presence within the organization to support Production Manufacturing and our robust New Product Development pipeline.
Typically referred to as a Bench Jeweler, Metalsmith or Maker, the successful candidate should possess many of the following skills and qualities.
➢ Jewelry/Metalsmith Education OR 2+ years of hands-on jewelry making experience.
➢ Strong Bench Skills including
Soldering
Silver
Brass/Bronze
Gold
Pewter
Metal forming
Setting
Proficient with Flex Shaft tools
Wire wrapping
Linking
➢ Laser Welding
➢ Assembly
➢ Fabrication of jewelry components
➢ Stone Setting
➢ Finishing
Polishing
Oxidation
Other surface treatments
➢ Excellent attention to detail
➢ Ability to demonstrate a professional work ethic
➢ Strong communication skills
➢ Ability to maintain confidentiality
➢ Fluency in English
