National Rarities Estate Specialist

Job Overview : The Estate Specialist will be responsible for quickly appraising items, negotiating pricing and purchasing collectible items directly from clientele.

Items are then assessed, cleaned and listed for resale at auction. A successful Estate Specialist will develop an understanding of the items we purchase along with the industry knowledge required to confidently communicate product value and purchase items from customers.

The Estate Specialist will report to both the Buy Manager and Office Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities :
•Travel to sponsored buying events, negotiate pricing and purchase jewelry, diamonds, watches, sterling silver, gold, coins, currency, fine art, •memorabilia, collectible firearms, autographs and other valuable items.
•Deliver excellent customer service to sponsors and customers while efficiently closing sales.
•Accurately identify and describe items for online auction resale.
•Follow company processes for buying policies and tracking item listings.
•Perform miscellaneous office duties as needed.

Qualifications :
•Ability to travel 6-10 days per month from March through November, on 3-4 consecutive day trips.
•Certifications such as GG, AJP, Master Watchmaker are preferred.
•Knowledge of fine jewelry, watches, antiques, coins, fine art, photography, firearms or other collectible items is required.
•Must be confident, positive and poised.
•Ability to reason intelligently and communicate clearly.
•Keen attention to detail.
•Comfortable working in a laid-back, fast paced environment.

Job Type : Full-time

Salary : $40,000.00 to $80,000.00 / year
