Silver Gate Inc / Meditation Rings is a Canadian based wholesale company, we have been in business for over 25 years and have retailers across North America. We are looking for a jewelry repair individual that has experience and expertise in the industry. Part of the job will consist of Jewelry laser engraving, which we can train on site. The job offer is for one day a week or 8 hours a week. We are flexible and can accommodate your schedule.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain a high level of safety and security
• Engraving jewelry
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Strive to meet company goals and targets
• Produce quality work under time constraints
• Maintain and organized and safe working environment
• Solder pieces together and insert stones
• Repair jewelry by replacing spinning bands, altering ring sizes, or resetting stones
• Smooth joints and rough spots and polish smoothed areas
• Clean and polish jewelry using polishing wheels and chemical baths
• Other duties as required
What we look for:
• 5+ years experience as a Goldsmith or Jewelry Repair
• Mature and positive attitude
• Ability to work with others and take direction
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work carefully and accurately
• Ability to learn new things
• Ability to complete tasks in a specific time frame
