Open role: Bench Jeweler

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for finishing of cast metal jewelry pieces. This position requires using various jewelry finishing equipment, including but not limited to, polishing equipment, laser repair equipment, sanders, jewelry bench tools & mass finishing equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow instruction process for honing, texturing, polishing, repairing, and finishing all standard production keepsakes.
- Sort & tag pieces accurately
- Tig & laser welder use
- Stone setting & assembly as well as attaching Mountables to purchased pieces.
- Steam & Clean keepsakes in preparation for QC.
- Casting repairs of pits & porosity
- Proper frag of non repairable items.
- Following instruction process for mass finishing & oxidation
- Follow process for cremains resin
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures (SOPs) and utilize specified company systems
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- College level jewelry classes or seminars preferred
- 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
- Jewelry experience preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft word & Excel
- 0% travel required for this position.
- Ability to read, write and speak English required.

- Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.

- Frequently work near moving mechanical parts
- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
