We are currently seeking an
experienced Bench Jeweler to join our
team in Woodstock, IL.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the finishing of
cast metal jewelry pieces. This position requires using various jewelry
finishing equipment, including but not limited to; polishing equipment, laser
repair equipment, sanders, jewelry bench tools, and mass finishing equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
Follow instruction process for honing,
texturing, polishing, repairing, and finishing manufactured standards and
grand pieces; including additional assigned specials.
Complete in process QC, complete repairs, frag
items that cannot be repaired.
Sort and tag pieces accurately.
Set stones into bails.
Attach mountables to knives and lighters.
Operate sandblasting equipment to prepare
White Bronze parts.
Steam and clean pieces in preparation for QC.
Requirements
Education and Experience:

1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
High School
diploma or GED
Skills and
Abilities:
·
Experience in jewelry manufacturing a plus
·
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
Jewelry manufacturing training
Displays creativity and original thinking.
Meets challenges with resourcefulness; generates suggestions for improving
work; provides ideas
