We are a family-owned and run independent jewellers based in Great Yarmouth since 1875. We are looking to fill the following full-time vacancy: Clockmaker.
Working day to day within our team, you will need to work well with others, have a passion for clocks and a meticulous eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing and repairs on a variety of brands and their mechanical and quartz movements.
- Although the role is not customer-facing, you will need to feel comfortable talking to customers at times.
- Occasional collection and delivery of larger clocks
- Carry out detailed estimates of clocks.
- Carry out refurbishment of clock cases and housing, where needed.
- Achieve workload targets within agreed time frames.
- Maintain high standard of work, keeping returns to a minimum.
- Ensure all tools used are appropriately maintained.
- Work with the workshop team to maintain stock control and ensure parts are ordered.

Skills and Experience Required
- BHI certification or thorough working knowledge and experience.

- Well rounded organizational skills and the ability to work well on your own and well within a team.
