Be the ambassador and advocate of Cartier Jewelry in the North American Market; the go-to resource for Local and International teams on product information, market intelligence and sales performance. Define and coordinate the implementation of the Cartier Jewelry strategy in North America based on Cartier International guidelines, in order to support sales and convey the proper image of the brand.
*Jewelry business strategy
Define and coordinate the implementation of the Cartier Jewelry strategy in collaboration with sales and communication departments. Help define and meet the North American Jewelry sales objectives.
Assess the performance of Cartier Jewelry business on a monthly basis. Provide executive management with recommendations and when requested, ad hoc analysis.
*Forecast and assortments
Collaborate with Merchandising on forecasts definition for in-range products and novelties, on sales performance vs. forecasts and on jewelry assortments by point of sale.
*Quantitative and qualitative market analysis
Proactively follow market trends and sales results from the competition. Provide executive management with quantitative and qualitative analysis on a regular basis.
*Action plan Implementation
Coordinate the implementation of products and network action plans on Jewelry as defined in the Strategic Plan with Communication, Training, CRM, Visual Merchandising and Merchandising departments and adjust throughout the year according to product performance.
*New Product Launch Coordination
Create and execute new launch strategies starting from initial sales forecasts with merchandising all the way through to implementation with the support of all transversal teams, i.e. Communications, Visual Merchandising, Training, tools and regional dispatch.
Be the reference for Jewelry product information. Support the sales and corporate teams in their day to day activities by sharing the appropriate information about new and in-range products. Develop or adapt Cartier International tools to assist all teams in reaching the company’s objectives.
Based on an in-depth understanding of the US market and client needs, identify and recommend to Management and International Marketing potential product developments and related marketing strategies.
Implement pricing strategy based on Cartier International recommendation and local competition.
Lead and manage the Jewelry Marketing team (1 product manager and 1 full-time intern). Address needs of Marketing, Communication and Merchandising management.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 7 to 9 years of experience in Marketing. Passion for jewelry is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related business field is required.
- Strong understanding of Customer Service needs.
- Strong leadership and proactive project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially strong proficiency in Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in high-end luxury is a plus.
- French speaking is a plus.
