Define and implement Cartier Watch strategy in North America based on Cartier International guidelines and roll-out all the necessary actions to allow retail and wholesale sales team to reach their sales budget and to convey the proper image. Be the ambassador and advocate of Cartier Watches in the North American Market; the go-to resource for Local and International teams on product information, market intelligence and sales performance.
• Watch business strategy
Define the watch strategy once a year for the Strategic Plan in collaboration with transversal departments (Sales, Communication, Events, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, CRM, e-commerce, Training). Animate and coordinate task forces with cross-functional teams, develop and present the strategy to the Marketing Headquarters.
• Action Plans Coordination
Coordinate the implementation of products action plans on watches, including all novelties, by networks and as defined in the Strategic Plan – from initial sales forecasts with merchandising all the way through to the 360 action plan implementation with the support of all transversal departments. Adjust throughout the year according to product performance.
• Budget Definition and Sales analysis
Help define and meet the North American Watch sales objectives. Assess the performance of Cartier Watch business on a monthly basis. Provide executive management with recommendations and when requested, ad hoc analysis.
• Quantitative and qualitative market analysis
Proactively follow market trends and sales results from the competition. Provide executive management with quantitative and qualitative analysis on a regular basis.
• Product Ambassador
Be the reference for Watch product information. Support the sales and corporate teams in their day-to-day activities by sharing the appropriate information about new and in-range products. Develop or adapt Cartier International tools to assist all teams in reaching the company’s objectives. Collaborate with the Training Department on efficient Watch trainings and training tools.
• Product Briefs
Based on an in-depth understanding of the US market and client needs, identify and recommend to Management and International Marketing potential product developments and related marketing strategies.
• Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH)
Coordinate all projects related to both the SIHH in Geneva and the Post-SIHH in North America in close collaboration with wholesale and communication teams. Provide sales teams with necessary product information for this selling event and assist them during sales appointments.
Analyze Cartier North America Watch price positioning vs. local competition and other Cartier subsidiaries and provide recommendations to Cartier International. Implement pricing strategy in collaboration with Cartier International.
• Team management
Lead and manage the Watch Marketing team (1 product manager and 1 intern).
Desired Skills and Experience :
• 7 to 9 years of experience in Marketing. Passion for watch is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related business field is required.
• Strong understanding of Customer Service needs.
• Strong leadership and proactive project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially strong proficiency in Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in high-end luxury is a plus.
• French speaking is a plus.
