We are currently recruiting to fill the following full-time vacancy in our UK Service Centre in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire
Polisher
You will work within our busy polishing team, producing quality work and will be responsible for the refinishing and water resistance of watch cases prior to scheduling to the watchmakers
Main Duties:
•The polishing of watches, respecting company procedures and the limitations regarding the necessity to maintain the original shape and lines of the case
•Rhodium plating of cases and bracelets as and when required
•Gluing of crystals and changing of case parts including pushers to ensure the water resistance of watch cases
•Maintaining stock control
Skills Required
•A good aptitude for mechanical work
•Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
•Ability to read and interpret documents with a technical aspect, such as spreadsheets, estimates and invoices
•Attention to detail with excellent numeracy and literacy skills, accuracy is critical
•Have an enthusiastic and positive personality and effectively manage your time and productivity whilst at work
•Proven organisational skills, works well on your own
•Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage in pressured situations
•Technically minded with a proven track record of working meticulously & accurately
•Confident in demonstrating techniques to colleagues and end customers
•Well rounded organisational skills and the ability to work well on your own initiative or as part of a team
