Job Role

The company has very stringent company service goals and standards which as a team member you will play your professional part to achieve. Daily you will perform jewellery repairs including polishing, cleaning, disassembling and reassembling. Other elements of the job role include:

Cleaning, rinsing, and drying Jewellery and Watch parts using solutions and ultrasonic machines.

It is expected that you would have a wide knowledge and ability to use repair tools. Able to handle materials with high added value (gold, platinum and steel) with composure.

Organisation and maintenance of stock and parts replenishment orders to process.

Maintain cleanliness and order to workstations.

Dismantle and cleaning of watches and polishing Jewellery to stock quality.

Operationally you can be called upon to contribute periodically to stock counts on workshop parts as well as ensuring equipment is appropriately maintained.

Requirements

This appointee needs to have between 3-5 years’ experience with undoubted expertise on rhodium plating.

Linked to this mandatory skill it would be extremely valuable if you possessed some additional knowledge of jewellery skills (ring sizing, stone setting).

Individually you possess a high level of focus and concentration and superlative dexterity and hand-to-eye-co-ordination.

When reporting work status to your line management colleagues you are expected to demonstrate good written and oral communication ability.

Underscoring everything that you do on bench, an acute sense of quality and rigour must be a constant companion.

Reporting to an Aftersales Manager and Head Watchmaker this vital role will see you deliver the best of industry quality watch and jewellery polishing repairs.
