Cartier watchmaker at Tokyo Fukagawa Platform

Cartier watch technician working at Fukagawa Platform
Report to: Team Leader, Watch Workshop, Customer Service Division
You will be stationed at the Fukagawa platform and will be responsible for repairing Cartier watches. Training will be primarily on-the-job training (OJT), and the content and duration of training will be determined based on your experience.
The Customer Service Department has established a system that allows employees to flexibly engage in multiple tasks in order to respond quickly to repair needs and social changes. We also actively propose short-term support or transfers to other locations as opportunities for professional growth. Therefore, while you will primarily be engaged in the tasks listed for the time being, there is a possibility of additional work with other brands or in other roles, or employment at other locations in the medium term.

Business scope:
- Watch repair in accordance with brand policy (primarily overhauls, ranging from basic ETA movements to chronographs and small complications; also includes simple exterior repairs and testing. However, disassembly, polishing, and exterior cleaning are handled by other teams and are therefore outside the scope of this work).
- Maintaining deadlines, quality, productivity, and collaboration with related departments in order to carry out business operations.
- 5S practices within the workshop
We are looking for:
- Expertise in watchmaking and at least 3 years of experience in overhauling and repairing watches are required.
- It allows for system input work related to repairs and searching for parts.
- The ability to think logically and act honestly.
- As a watch technician for a luxury brand, I can work with a sense of responsibility and autonomy.
- I can maintain teamwork and good communication with my team and related departments, including those in the upstream and downstream processes.
- We are flexible in responding to changes we notice and always maintain a continuous improvement mindset for increased productivity, improved quality, and customer focus.
- Japanese (native level) is required.
- Experience in cost estimation analysis is a plus.
- Experience in direct communication with customers is a plus.
- English reading, writing, and conversation skills are a plus.
