Description:

The fast-paced team at Feldmar Watch Company, Inc. is looking for a Refinisher/Polisher. This position is responsible for refinishing/polishing all cases and bracelets of the timepieces that come through our after-sales service department to Feldmar Watch Company standards. On a daily basis this position will handle numerous products produced by a variety of brands, mixing complicated with standard work.

Responsibilities:

•Respond to needs quickly, at times performing under pressure.
•Appropriately refinish/polish a variety of timepieces while ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
•Maintain a clean and efficient space in personal work area and in general workshop.

Requirements:

•Must be an independent worker, using materials provided, and showing ability to request other supplies when necessary.
•Must have basic metallurgy knowledge.
•Must have experience working with a lathe.
•Must be familiar with standardized polishing methods ensuring case shape integrity.
•Must have experience working with modern variable speed polishers.
•Must be familiar with water-resistance testing.
•Must be able to maintain a quick turnaround time.
