We are seeking a skilled and certified Watchmaker to join our team in Tennessee!
As a Watchmaker, you will be responsible for performing technical repairs and services on various watch brands, adhering to brand-specific guidelines. Your duties will include conducting water resistance testing, replacing case gaskets, and ensuring that all repair work meets or exceeds brand quality standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with the team, communicate job status updates to the head watchmaker, and meet assigned service turnaround times.
Position Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in adjusting hairspring and escapement mechanisms.
- Proficient in providing service and adjustments for chronographs.
- Capable of conducting diagnostics and servicing on both mechanical and quartz timepieces.
- Ability to service common mechanical ETA calibers.
- Proficiency in working with modern Rolex calibers.
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive and collaborative attitude.
- Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Completion of a minimum 2-year watchmaking program/school or relevant professional experience (3-5 years on-the-job experience).
- Watchmaker certification from SAWTA, WOSTEP, or CW21, or a similar recognized institution.
- Bonus qualifications: Level-40 Richemont, Rolex, SGUS, or similar brand training and certification.
- Proficiency in handling complications such as annual calendar, perpetual calendar, or similar complexities.
- Highly organized with the ability to independently manage workload.
- Effective collaboration skills within a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Basic proficiency in verbal and written English communication.
