About the job

Watchmaking without the production-line pressure.

At Watch Repair UK, we are passionate about doing careful, high-quality work and giving skilled people the time and trust to do the job properly.

We are an established independent, brand-authorised workshop based in the Ribble Valley. For more than 15 years, we have serviced, repaired and restored a wide range of watches, from everyday pieces to luxury Swiss brands including TAG Heuer, Breitling and Omega.

Watch Repair Bracelet

Why this role is different

• No individual production targets, sales quotas or commission pressure

• Quality and craftsmanship come before arbitrary numbers

• Varied bench work across a broad mix of brands, models and movements

• The opportunity to work on interesting authorised-brand repairs

• A calm countryside workshop rather than a large corporate service centre

• A small, friendly team where your experience and ideas matter

• Independence and trust in how you organise your work

The role

We are looking for an experienced Watchmaker or Watch Technician to join our workshop on a full-time, permanent basis.

Your work may include:

• Quartz and mechanical watch servicing and repairs

• Chronograph testing and repair work

• Fault finding and diagnostics

• Battery replacement, resealing and pressure testing

• Case and bracelet checks

• Quality control and final testing

• Work across a varied range of luxury and Swiss watch brands

About you

You will have previous practical experience as a Watchmaker, Watch Technician or Horologist. You take pride in clean, accurate and reliable work, treat every customer’s watch with care, and are comfortable working independently as part of a supportive team.

Experience with TAG Heuer, Breitling, Omega or similar luxury brands is useful, but skill, care and the right attitude matter most.

What we offer

• Salary: £35,000–£40,000 per year, depending on experience

• No individual productivity targets or retail sales pressure

• Interesting, varied work rather than repetitive production-line tasks

• A peaceful countryside workshop

• Two on-site parking spaces, plus free parking approximately a two-minute walk away

• A close-knit, supportive team

• Ongoing learning and the chance to grow with an established independent business

Some watchmakers assume a bigger company offers the best opportunity. We offer something different: varied work, genuine autonomy, direct access to the people running the business and an environment built around quality rather than quotas.
