Job Role:
An opportunity to gain employment with such a predominant industry player now exists for a recently qualified Horologist looking to build their skills further after perhaps concluding a formal training or as a first fully focused watchmaking placement.
You will be most comfortable operating in a very orderly focused fashion and early on in your placement there will be guidance and support initially to raise your operational proficiency to the required levels.
It is likely that you will first be tasked with a particular brand/watch house, however as wide as their repair coverage is this will certainly grow in tandem with your own understanding which will be constantly reviewed and evaluated.
There may be over time opportunity to receive further training/elevation to work on ever more progressively complicated movements this may not be limited to currently released collections but may extend into the realms of legendary past manufactured timepieces of whose technical allure has been iconic and as yet still unsurpassed.
Requirements:
•To be considered you need to already possess sound watchmaker/watch technician training.
•It may be that you have recently completed a degree in Horology or indeed completed an in-house training process either with a Watch Manufacturer or a Watchmaking Training provider (UK or Overseas).
•Essentially you know already that the world of micro-electronics and engineering miniaturisation is ‘your future profession/vocation’ and you are keen to connect and commence employment in a structured service centre destination that will allow your learnings to be gainfully bench employed.
•It may be that your experience is entirely workshop/on the job taught supported by manufacturer training and instruction this could also be a selection pathway that could be considered.
