Razny Jewelers is looking for a skilled Rolex Watchmaker to join our watch service team. This individual will be responsible for bringing precision, technical expertise, and craftsmanship to the evaluation and servicing of luxury timepieces. The role requires a high level of concentration, consistency, and pride in workmanship, along with the ability to work within Rolex and Razny Jewelers’ service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate incoming watches to identify mechanical, cosmetic, and functional concerns.
- Determine the appropriate level of service required based on the condition and performance of each timepiece.
- Disassemble and reassemble movements and watch components with precision and care.
- Execute movement overhauls, repairs, adjustments, and component replacements.
- Complete timing and performance testing to verify that a watch is operating properly following service.
- Identify worn or damaged components and communicate parts requirements to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure work is properly documented throughout the repair process.
- Handle Rolex parts, tools, and timepieces according to established security and handling procedures.
- Take ownership of assigned repairs from initial evaluation through completion.
- Work closely with the Client Services and watch departments to provide technical insight on repairs and service needs.
- Help ensure watches are completed within established service timelines without compromising workmanship.
- Keep the bench, equipment, and work area orderly and ready for daily production.
- Stay current on Rolex technical procedures, product updates, and watchmaking techniques through ongoing training.
- Support a team environment built around craftsmanship, accountability, and exceptional client service.
Requirements
- Professional watchmaking or bench experience, preferably within a luxury watch environment.
- Rolex technical training and/or experience servicing Rolex watches highly valued.
- Comfortable working with a range of mechanical and quartz movements.
- Experience with chronographs and other movement complications preferred.
- Strong ability to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Exceptional precision, patience, and attention to detail.
- Excellent dexterity and close-range vision required for detailed bench work.
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple watches while maintaining consistent quality.

- Ability to perform detailed bench work for extended periods.
- Ability to sit and maintain focused visual attention during intricate repairs.
- Ability to safely handle small watch components, tools, and equipment.
