Role Description Watchmaker – Level 4 (Luxury Swiss Timepieces)
Location: Long Island, New York (On-Site)

Maddaloni Jewelers is seeking an experienced Level 4 Watchmaker to join our established luxury jewelry and timepiece business on Long Island. We are looking for a master craftsman with exceptional technical skills, pride in precision, and extensive experience servicing high-end Swiss watches.
This is an opportunity to join a respected, family-owned jeweler with a reputation for quality, integrity, and personalized service.
Responsibilities
Complete mechanical overhauls on automatic and manual-wind Swiss watches.
Diagnose and repair complex movement issues.
Service and regulate luxury timepieces to manufacturer specifications.
Replace crowns, stems, crystals, gaskets, mainsprings, and other movement components.
Perform water-resistance testing and final quality control.
Maintain detailed service records and repair documentation.
Work independently while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and turnaround time.
Collaborate with our jewelry and sales teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
Level 4 Watchmaker or equivalent advanced experience.
Minimum of 5 years of professional bench experience servicing luxury mechanical watches.
Experience with brands such as Rolex, Omega, Cartier, Tudor, Breitling, TAG Heuer, and other Swiss manufacturers.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Professional, dependable, and committed to delivering outstanding workmanship.
WOSTEP, AWCI, or equivalent certification is required.

Qualifications
- Expertise in watch repair and restoration, including mechanical and quartz watches.
- Experience servicing and maintaining clocks and related timekeeping mechanisms.
- Strong focus on quality control and adherence to high service and brand standards.
- Demonstrated high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all technical work.
- Ability to work with luxury watches, complications, and rare timepieces.
- Formal watchmaking training or certification (e.g., WOSTEP, SAWTA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Proficiency with modern watchmaking tools, equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills for tracking repairs and service histories.
- Effective communication skills to explain technical findings and service options to non-technical team members and clients.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workshop environment.
- Prior experience in a luxury retail or high-end service environment is a plus.
