Based in central London with customers world-wide, we provide a comprehensive and professional watch repair service on a wide range of luxury watch brands including approved service centre for Omega, Longines and Tissot. Plus servicing of Hublot, Rolex, Tag Heuer, Zenith and many more.

We are currently looking for a highly experienced workshop manager to join our team in Central London. Salary and benefits are excellent and dependent upon experience.

The right candidate will join a modern and very well equipped workshop, working alongside existing watchmakers with 50 years combined experience, plus excellent technicians.

Responsibilities:

Ascertains the required workshop equipment, parts and staff necessary to fulfil the current needs of the company
 Devise purchasing policies to maintain an inventory of spare parts, evaluate prices and products from various suppliers and make decisions based upon cost effectiveness and expedience.
 Annual stock take
 Check all incoming shipments of parts and equipment for quality, quantity and ensure suppliers deliver in the specified time frame
 Maintain a positive relationship with the workshop accredited brands and if necessary assist in applying for future brand accreditation.
 Provide training to other members of staff to maintain the consistent high standard required by the workshop accredited brands
 Carry out repairs of vintage and complicated watches to the highest standard including the ability to manufacture obsolete parts
 Carry out estimate
 Liaise with repair department

Qualifications/Experience

•WOSTEP or equivalent qualification such an apprenticeship is essential
•Previous brand accreditation and training for a luxury watch brand, including relevant experience in communicating with luxury watch brands for the purposes of brand accreditation;
•Excellent ability to maintain high standards of workmanship and productivity
•An excellent eye for quality control, being able to train and communicate effectively with other staff regarding new servicing techniques
•A high level of computer proficiency
•A comprehensive knowledge and genuine interest in the current state of the watch industry
