Watch Quick Service Technician

As the full-time Quick Service (Timepiece) Technician at Davis Jewelers you will be trained to provide expert, client-focused service for our guests.To succeed in this role, you must be an avid learner, take instruction well, be mechanically adept, friendly, energetic and capable of working diligently with little supervision, and applying shop operating procedures when approaching repairs in order to ensure consistent quality service.

Davis Jeweler’s Quick Service Technician is an entry level position providing the introduction to the demanding and rewarding field of time-piece repair. Working hand in hand with the Watchmaker, our Quick Service Technician will assist the Watchmaker in performing basic duties as pertaining to Quartz Watch Services and Repair, Time-Piece Point of Sale Support, Watch Shop Administration Support as well as daily and weekly shop maintenance and upkeep. Although this position requires no previous experience, suitable applicants should be extremely detail oriented, possess excellent communication and customer service skill, and have a genuine interest in Horology, Micro-Mechanics, and Timepieces as well as an eagerness to advance education within the shop.

Responsibilities of the position include: Quartz Watch Maintenance Services, Battery Changes, Bracelet Sizing and Watch Cleaning Non-experienced applicants may be required to take a mechanical aptitude test. Applicants with existing quick service skills will be bench-tested.
