Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced watchmaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horology and possess exceptional technical skills in repairing, servicing, and maintaining a variety of timepieces. This position offers the opportunity to work with high-end watches and provide expert craftsmanship to ensure their precision and longevity.

Watchmaker

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose issues and perform repairs on mechanical, quartz, and automatic watches.
  • Disassemble and reassemble timepieces while ensuring proper handling of delicate components.
  • Clean and lubricate watch movements to maintain optimal performance.
  • Replace worn or damaged watch parts such as crystals, dials, hands, and movements.
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality checks to verify accuracy and functionality after repairs.
  • Provide estimates for repairs and communicate effectively with customers regarding timelines and costs.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a watchmaker, with a strong understanding of watch mechanisms and complications.
  • Knowledge of brands such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, and others
  • Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment for watchmaking.
  • Attention to detail and precision craftsmanship skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
  • Certification from a recognized watchmaking school or apprenticeship program is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
