Role Description
Vookum is hiring an experienced watchmaker to join our team. This is a hands-on, on-site role for someone who knows luxury movements inside and out and takes pride in precision work. Beyond servicing, you’ll play a central role in authenticating high-value timepieces—a core part of what we do.
What you’ll do
- Decease, service, and reassemble luxury watches to manufacturer standards
- Authenticate timepieces, identifying genuine components, replaced parts, and counterfeits
- Diagnose movement issues and perform repairs, cleaning, and regulation
- Document the condition and authenticity of each piece accurately
- Work closely with the team to maintain quality and turnaround standards
What we’re looking for
- 2–3 years of professional experience deceasing and servicing luxury watches
- Hands-on experience with major brands preferred (Rolex, Omega, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, and similar)
- Polishing experience is a major plus
- A strong eye for authentication and detail
- Familiarity with watchmaking tools and proper handling of high-value pieces
- Reliability, discretion, and a commitment to craftsmanship
